Good at campaigning = Good at governing?

Is how a candidate runs a campaign an important indicator of how they’ll run the White House?

Politico seems to think so.

Then again, the current president ran a couple of pretty flawless campaigns and how has he done in the White House.  The problem with the good campaigning=good governing theory is that you run the risk of electing someone who focuses solely on the things that make good political sense, not good policy sense.

Again, see last 8 years as an example.
